New study: Ancient Mars may have been warm, rainy, and suitable for life

Analysis of clay pebbles collected in Jezero Crater by the Perseverance probe indicates that at least parts of ancient Mars experienced mild, wet, and continuous conditions—not just brief thaw events in a frozen environment.
